Entertainment, Learning & Interests

If binging TV series and movies, or reviving your interest in board games, are not your preferred way to entertain yourselves during the stay-at-home advisory, you may want to consider the novel ways performing artists, scientists and their institutions are bringing their talents to your home (and you can help keep them operating). Many of your favorite venues, shows, and artists have created their own streaming services and podcasts. You can search for them on Google, YouTube, FaceBook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other social sites. For podcasts, check your local podcast player (Apple, Google, Spotify, iHeartRadioStitcher, Spreaker, etc.).

Also, try your favorite radio station — all radio stations now have their own online streaming channels (e.g. WCRB). Here is an article from The Guardian listing alternative online replacements for cancelled live shows, and one from The Stage for European theatre.
