The Special Events Committee plans a variety of events for NABB members. The events take place bi-monthly and include tours of area museums, gardens, and other local and historic venues. Members also plan other cultural, musical, and theatrical events as well as presentations by local authors.
During this unprecedented time, the Special Events Committee has been organizing a variety of virtual events for our members. These have included presentations on African American history in Massachusetts and Christmas Traditions in Boston. In the future we hope to return to in person events with a social component so that participants can get to know one another.
Announcements of events appear in the NABB Friday enews, the monthly bulletin, the NABB Facebook and Instagram pages and the NABB website where you can register online.
