Boston Waterfront Tour
Please join Special Events for a Boston By Foot walking tour of Boston’s Waterfront on Saturday, Sept. 10th at 11:00. On this 90 minute tour you will learn how ocean trade impacted the growth of Boston. The tour includes the beginnings of Long Wharf as the grand entry into Boston and the genesis for the financial district, the lore of the China trade and classic 19th century Boston granite wharf buildings such as Union wharf. Today the Waterfront is a vibrant mix of hotels, restaurants and recreational spaces. We will wind our way among old wharves and new and take in spectacular views of Boston Harbor.
